WASTE TYPES

We’ve got a bin for almost any sort of rubbish

We have four different waste types to choose from. It’s important to work out your waste type as this reflects the price you will pay for the skip hire.
Hazardous wastes are not allowed to be placed into any bin.These include:- asbestos, tyres, liquid paint, oils, food, gas bottles and batteries.

GENERAL WASTE

Our general waste category covers anything that can be bought from a retail shop and anything that grows above ground level in your yard can go in this bin. (excludes building & flooring materials)

Some examples of what can go in this skip bin:
Household waste such as furniture, white goods, mattresses, TV’s, computers, clothes, toys, kitchenware, bikes, small tree cuttings etc.

Some examples of what cannot go in this skip bin:
Hard Heavy materials such as dirt, bricks, concrete, stones, sand, tiles, turf, tree trunks and any hazardous materials as noted above.

HEAVY WASTE

Our heavy waste category allows almost anything to go in this bin apart from the hazardous wastes listed above and some building and flooring materials.

Some examples of what can go in this skip bin:
Everything from general and green waste types plus timber, plasterboard, metal, carpet, chipboard, underlay, windows etc.

Some examples of what cannot go in this skip bin:
Hard materials such as dirt, bricks, concrete, stones, sand, tiles, turf, tree trunks and any hazardous materials as noted above.

GREEN WASTE

Our green waste category covers anything that grows above ground level in your yard and garden can go in bin. No other waste is allowed to go into this bin.

Some examples of what can go in this skip bin:
Light green waste such as grass clippings, small branches, palm fronds, twigs, leaves etc.

Some examples of what cannot go in this skip bin:
Dirt, mulch, palm tree trunks, tree roots, turf, bricks, concrete, stones, sand, general waste and any tree stumps over 12cm in diameter.

CONCRETE / BRICKS

Our concrete/bricks waste category covers any type of brick, block or concrete with any steel reo protruding from concrete is allowed.

Some examples of what can go in this skip bin:
Concrete, bricks, mortar, sandstone and pavers.

Some examples of what cannot go in this skip bin:
General, green, excavation waste, dirt and any other type of waste.
