The driver will remove the overloaded item/s as it is illegal to carry an overfull bin. Where possible, the item/s will be left in a neat pile next to where the bin is.
No, so long as we have access to the skip bin then you don’t have to be there on pick up.
If your bin is not booked out to another job and we are not on the way to pick it up then you can extend it up to a maximum of 7 days total hire. An extra $20 per day will be payable in this event.
Yes just let us know and we will pick it up as soon as posible.
We take it to council and private transfer stations where it is sorted. Recycled materials are removed and saved from going to landfill. We also recycle the metal that is in the skip bin.
In no circumstances can a skip bin be filled above the rim. It is illegal to transport an overfilled skip and drivers are subject to heavy fines and demerit points if caught carrying an overloaded bin.
No, as this may result in us not being able to remove the skip bin from where you have moved it to. This also may result in damage to your property when we try to pick it up.
You are in possession of the skip bin and are responsible for what is placed in it. Therefore, you will be responsible for any costs arising if anyone puts something in the skip that is not allowed or overloads it.
The skip bin can be placed anywhere on your property so long as we can gain access to it without causing damage. The skip bin can also be placed on the footpath so long as access to pedestrians is not blocked. The bin can’t be placed on the road.
The minimum requirement is a height clearance of 6m and width of 2.8m. We do have a smaller truck so if you are close to these measurements let us know.
We do not guarantee delivery times but can provide a time slot when prearranged with us and agreed to.
You can have the bin for up to 5 days. Eg deliver Friday pick up Wednesday. Unless prearranged with us your bin will be delivered sometime on the first day and picked up sometime on the fifth day.
Usually 24hrs notice, however, we suggest skip bins are booked as far in advance as posible to ensure you are able to get a skip bin that best meets your requirments, price and delivery date. We can sometimes deliver on the same day if we have the skip bin available and are in your area.
We accept cash, credit card (incl Amex) and bank transfer. Payment must be made on or before the delivery day of your skip bin.
A cubic metre (m³) is a unit of measure for volume – 1m x 1m x 1m. This is how the skip bins are specified and is not the length of them. To work out the size of skip bin you need, imagine your rubbish in a pile and then estimate the volume by multipling the ‘length x width x height’ to calculate the bin volume for your rubbish.
Our skip bins are all fixed side with no doors.
We give you $20 cash back for a full set of BCC dump vouchers. A full set is 5 green and 5 general waste vouchers. There is no limit on the amount you can use.
Unless you are going to be paying the driver then no you don’t have to be there when the bin is delivered. We will have all the details we need to deliver the bin to your property.
The different waste types helps reduce the price in some cases. This is because some materials are 100% recycled therefore reducing our disposal costs.
NO, asbestos must not be put in any skip. Asbestos can be found in many materials in houses built up until the late 1980’s. A $500.00 fee applies if we find you have put asbestos into the bin.
Gas bottles, oil, paint and tyres can be taken to your local council waste service on selected days throughout the year. Contact council to confirm the dates or visit their website. You can also look at these websites for disposal as well.
