The skip bin has arrived and you’re about to take on the clutter, but what is the best way to do it. We are going to look at the four box method which forces you to make a decision about all your clutter items. Clutter stems from poor organization, sentimental attachment or having too much stuff.

So how does it work? You have one box for stuff to be kept, one box for donations, one box for storage and the other box is your skip bin for stuff to be thrown away. Start in one area and go through each item and place it in one of the boxes or the skip bin. You can’t place it down and do it later it must be done straight away.

When you finish each area put away the storage box, then put the donations box in the car so it can be done next time you are out. The box to be kept items can then be put away in a designated place for each item. Your skip bin should be starting to fill up with those unwanted items. Repeat this process for each area you go to.
